For Immediate Release:
Vietnam War Teach-In---
Area Students Invited
Interested area college students are invited to take part in a "Teach-In" on the myths of the Vietnam War, to be held on July 27 at 1800 hrs (6 PM Civilian Time) at Simmons College. The program is offered by Veterans, Academics, and Authors whose participation in the events of that time make them especially qualified to speak on the subject.
This session, scheduled to take place in Auditorium C-103 in the Main College Building at Simmons College, 300 The Fenway, Boston, is open without charge to any College student in the Boston area with an ID card to validate his or her student status.
Speakers and panelists will answer audience questions and perhaps toss a few queries back to the audience. The audience size will be limited to available seating space, but there will be several overflow rooms set up in the event of extraordinary interest. This program is a part of a larger series of discussions on the myths of the Vietnam era that will take place during the week of July 26th. The full weeks program requires a modest fee for participation.
Those interested are asked please not to call Simmons College for information. While Simmons is providing the facilities, the College is not able to respond to questions. Any questions about the event may be emailed to sherman1@flash.net.
